  I’m asking myself the same damn question, especially since my phone quit working properly since August, and they’ve done nothing to make it better. They even denied me a new phone with my new 2 year contract -AFTER they promised we could choose 2 new phones. It was a he said-she said ordeal… still is.

  May I invite you to view Sony Ericsson’s K700i. Its still not released in US, but its rocking in Europe and Asia! May not look a lot cool, but the features beat everyone. Mp3 player, FM radio, video+audio recorder, still pic camera with 4x zoom, pic resolution upto 1200×800, bluetooth, infrared connectivity, java games and alot.   I dunno… non-flip phones don’t manage very well in my tiny handbags. And the Razr is way cooler than my Samsung VGA1000… sniffle.

  My family has used sprint PCS and it’s been wonderful.

  You’re probably not into video games but if you think that phone is sexy you should see Sony’s new Playstation Portable.

  It hits japan on 12/12 and in the US sometime before March.

  That’s a four-inch wide screen and it plays MP3s, MP4 (movies), and Jpegs off a sony mem-stick. And it plays games with PS2 level graphics. DVD-quality movies (as well as games) are also going to be released on the proprietary format, the Universal Media Disc a 160 mm disc that holds 1.8 gigs!

  Wow I sound like a sales person, but I can’t help it, I think I’m in love! lol…

  Yah, it is really nice… until I almost choked at the price… but hey, they will give you $100 off!! (we have Sprint, but are looking at changing to Cingular anyway )

  Would be a decent phone, if and only if CINGULAR DIDNT FUCKING SUCK ROYALLY…

  I may just be bitter, but the reception is crap in my area… just switched to Verizon, much better service here

  Love the look of the phone but I hate cingular. I went with the SPH-a600 from samsung for the Sprint plan. Unfortunately, I just had to have it the first day it came out. These things are really cheap now.

  oh n i noe this sounds dumb but im reali looking for a nice, tiny phone which is NOT a camera phone n has just enough features dat i can understand so as not to confuse me =p

  This may help abate your lust: $500 AFTER $100 mail-in rebate and WITH 2-year contract with the devil. It’s a beautiful phone but wait intil spring when they’re not charging holiday prices.

  Yes. Yes! YES!! My deepest sympathies on your two year Sprint contract. They’re one of the companies that I’ve vowed will never get another dollar of my money.

  That is a nice phone! I love my Hiptop (aka Sidekick), but wouldn’t say no to this either!

  Contracts suck, but can always be broken. Just depends on how much it’s worth to you, because anyone will break a contract if you’re willing to pay for it.

  I have one. Bwahahaha. Just kidding about the laughter. It really isn’t worth it. You can get the V551 for a whole lot less, and it has 10mb vs the V3′s 6, as well as video capture. V3 plays video, but doesn’t take it. The speaker phone rocks, though.

  PS: for 3cincr3b, get a Samsung X427. Good phone, good signal. Hey, if my Mom doesn’t complain one iota, gotta be good. Low return and defect rates.
