Muscle Memory

January 12th, 2005

Okay, so it turns out that losing DDR was a blessing in disguise. All the cardio was great, but it turns out I reeeeally missed circuit training. The friendly people, the lively music, but most especially “THE PUMP” as Governor Arnold would put it. I believe his immortal words were
(and you have to imagine the accent, too)…

“It’s like in every muscle, I am coming”

PS. If you have iTunes and you need a good laugh some time, log on to their Music Store and do a search for “Schwarzenegger” …Trust me!

Speaking of gym happiness, the office building where I work just opened a mini one downstairs. Which means that instead of driving across san diego to work out, I can bust out a decent one right after work and go home. :) Not that you care, just wanted to share.

    Workout?!
In an actual gym? Wow, that’s a concept that I am not so familiar with….
My workout is at home, as with the rest of my life, and it entails carrying laundry baskets, chasing children, pushing vacuum cleaners and doing dishes. Oh ya, and who can forget the yardwork?

That absolutely counts! …Except I’d leave yardwork to the guys.

I got the idea of bodybuiding from reading your blog……

Cool, thanks Andrea. I recommend it so highly because it works: Just think – Muscle burns calories 24/7! …And if you can lift at an aerobic pace, that’s even better. Hope you enjoy it, too.

I hate gyms… They smell like contained sweat. I like to run outdoors. Real landmarks give me the movitation to keep going.
