Finally got around to uploading a newer version of iTunes and figured I’d put together an official Nerd Girl Playlist since I’m home today waiting for one of those appointments with a 5-hour window… But it seems I’ve gone brain dead and can’t think of any more decent songs.
I could use your help finding some good stuff to fit in with the theme.

Here’s what I’ve got so far:
Anything from Devo
and Weird Al Yankovic
Rockit – Herbie Hancock
Opportunities – Pet Shop Boys
Computer Love – Roger & Zapp
Star Wars Overture – John Williams
Blinded Me w/Science – Thomas Dolby
Go ahead, make me kick myself by reminding
me of some good ones that I forgot!

Great website. Design is wonderful and fun to read. Easy to dance to – Good taste in music! How about Legal Tender by The B-52′s.

There needs to be some They Might Be Giants in there. Maybe some Cure if it’s the light-hearted “pop”-y stuff (otherwise you’re moving in on Goth Girl territory).
Maybe some Telepopmusik, Dirty Vegas and Chemical Brothers as well.

And anything by Al Green (it’s not really geek music but the man kicks ass.) =)

I’m not sure if they are nerd girl tunes but I like them and I’m kind of a nerd and both songs are about girls, so what the heck! “My Sharrona†by the Knack, and Tommy Tutone’s “Jenny, Jenny (867-5309).
