Friday night used to be date night… Since the new SciFi series Battlestar Galactica came out it’s become more like “Where can we go and still be back in time for the 10pm replay?” night. Yes friends, the Aurorealis household is addicted.
Battlestar Galactica just plain ROCKS!
This show has everything that television’s been missing: dogfights in space, hot deadly chicks, angry robots, crazy clones, and halfway decent special effects! Other than overuse of the word “frack” and Stands-With-A-Tumor the show is space-fantasy pimpness!
In this new series Starbuck is a badass stogie-smoking gurrrl, and in tonight’s episode she was a total ass-kicking hottie, as usual… I won’t spoil anything in case you missed out.
Speaking of which: If you aren’t already addicted like we are, you’ll have your chance to get loaded up on Tuesday when SciFi replays all five episodes. Enjoy!

YES this weeks episode RAWKED and I must say I love hot blonde Starbuck. Apollo is muy caliente too.
My mouth is STILL open in a gasp from Stands-With-A-Tumor.. LMAO – I’m starting to worry that Hell is going to be crowded when I get there *giggle*

Is it a remake of the 1960′s series? We probably won’t see this new one here in South Africa for another year.

Battlestar Galactica kicks ass!! I hated the old ’80′s show, but this is how they should have done it the first time. Less of a Saberhagen rip-off.
Starbuck looks too much like a friend of my wife’s that I HATE, but I will concede that some might find her appearance to be pleasant.
Have to chime in here with the Tivo. I never worry about ANY television show I want to watch. Tivo catches all, and saves it for me. All must bow before Tivo, the new God of TV slackers.

This show is almost as great as my Digital Video Recorder. I was worried at first, but I really do like it. Those scenes where Gaius is talking to the Cylon than only he can see crack me up. I can’t imagine how the other actors must feel watching her climb all over him while they pretend she doesn’t exist. I do agree about the overuse of the word frack. I really wish they would cut it down to once en episode or less. You made up your own slang language, complete with swear words. We get it – please move on. I think it’s cool that Starbuck and Boomer are women. And Edward James Olmos? He’s awesome in everything.
