It’s not often that I find an article that’s so mindblowingly beautiful that I must pimp it here as my post of the day, but the Gamers’ Manifesto, by Pointless Waste of Time is more than worthy.
Check out this list of “20 things gamers want from the 7th generation of game consoles” and see if I’m not right: This guy was able to put his finger on things that have annoyed all of us about video games, and made some kick-ass recommendations that I hope the industry pays attention to in the future… Well, a girl can dream.

Boy, just about every one of his rants is why I just don’t play video games much. Soooo frustrating! I have a couple of friends who game online (mostly Battle of Britain type stuff), but I just can’t get “immersed” enough. About the only game I’ve ever spent a lot of time with is “Age of Empires”(various). I love to build things and then defend my kingdom!
