I’m sitting here trying to calculate how nerdy it is that I can hardly wait until the season two premiere of Battlestar Galactica – the only TV show worth watching these days. Oh man, I can hardly wait! July 15th can’t come fast enough… Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap.
Naturally, the first season left off with a cliffhanger. But frankly, I don’t care which way it goes. This is the kind of show where you expect the unexpected and you can’t really guess in which direction the plots are headed… Except that no matter what, you know it’s gonna kick ass.
By the way, if you missed season one (Where were you, under a rock?) you can catch up via a marathon tomorrow on SciFi, airing at 10AM… Because if deadly nymphomaniac cyborgs don’t do it for you, why on the gods green Kobol are you reading my blog?

I’ll be rite there glued to my tube as well. Battlestar Glactica is definately addicting. The mix between science fiction and a cycle of an alternative religion comming back into full cycle is pretty cool. I’m curiouse about this baby. Will it be a full blooded human or a half-cyborg? And how is the good doctor going to mess up everything? Is he going to become president by some unfortunate accident? Maybe he is a cyborg himself.

My dearest Rora… Why didn’t you post that message sooner! I could have had something to do today! BUT! I just turned it on and it is still playing! YAY!! *hugs & pancakes*
And don’t feel badly about waiting for it to show up. I have a stargate counter (which functions as a BSG counter as well) running on my Mac’s Dashboard. I get goosebumps when I see previews for the new StarGate with Ben Bowder in it. I giggle like a school girl when I see BSG previews. You are not alone.

When you have rock-bottom basic cable like me sometimes the world just passes you by… I haven’t seen any of the new series other than the pilot. Seeing as I have all the original Galactica episodes, I guess it’s time to hit up http://www.the-realworld.de/ so I can see more of the female Starbuck with a cigar hanging out of her mouth. For sci-fi though, I think the new Doctor Who series is the best thing running.

Good gravy – This show is a staple in our household. LOL! Hubby watches while he eats dinner… Hollarin & whoopin when it gets good. The kids crank their necks around to see the TV while eating. Sometimes the meal takes a back seat. It’s bad enough he’s got me sucked into Stargate SG-1 …I refuse to be lured into this one too! LOL!!!
