Character Development

September 15th, 2005

Goldmoon & RaistlinWas catching up on the latest from my friend PJ (You may remember him as Mr. LemurBoy… He guest authored while I was on a business trip in San Francisco) and he told me about an interesting new D&D campaign that he was starting.

What’s different about this one is that their characters are to be based upon real personal traits. How, you ask? They each took quizzes to determine their attributes. Two quizzes measured all six stats: Mental covers Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma; Physical scored their Strength, Constitution, and Dexterity.

I took the tests just for fun, and here are my results…
You scored 13 Intelligence, 16 Wisdom, and 10 Charisma!
You scored 11 Strength, 12 Constitution, and 12 Dexterity!

Sounds like a good Priest or Cleric, but I’ve never played one before. Couldn’t get into the healing and bludgeoning thing. I’m usually a mage, but it turns out I lack sufficient intelligence in real life - Go figure! Who knows, maybe I could get away with hurling some elemental magic as a Druid… In any case, the quizzes were good, geeky fun.

Test yourself, and tell us what you come up with!

Guess with these stats I’m a warrior. Short on dex for a ranger… Though I could prolly be an ugly paladin!

My strength blows, so warrior is out, but I’d make an awesome wizard or theif. Oh yeah, my Charisma is a tad embarassing as well.

You scored 17 Intelligence, 11 Wisdom, and 7 Charisma!

I’m just as surprised as anyone else about these results.

I guess I could role-play an ugly weakling pretty well. Looks like I could be a mage, cleric, or a thief if I were just a human. It seems that I would be better suited for the magics.

    7 Strength, 9 Constitution, 9 Dexterity, 13 Intelligence, 12 Wisdom, 6 Charisma
