Dixie Chicks
I’ve always wondered what posessed the country music group to name themselves after my favorite term of endearment for hermaphrodites. Makes you wonder about the “ladies” in the band, don’t it?

I’ve never heard the name “Dixie Chick” be used as a term for hermaphrodites… Am I behind?

Heh, I hadn’t heard of the term either – but I can see how it applies. One of my high-school friends actually has Dixie as her real name. Now I won’t be able to get rid of that thought if I ever meet her again.

    “Dixie Chick”

To me that’s GWB and Dick Cheney posing as two chicks.
    Or could mean chicken liberals.

The picture is worth a million words.
It is a first prize winner anyday.

They got the name from a song by a blues band, Little Feat.

P.S. I’ve never heard that term either.

Never thought of it that way… Too funny!

Little Feat are a blues band. Funny, I never thought of them as anyting but a college party band to get drunk to. When I was in college you never went to a party that Little Feat wasn’t playing.

Bwahahaha! I think the term “ladies” should be used loosely, especially when referring to that skanky lead singer!
