As much as I adore Wonder Woman and I truly do… I just couldn’t do that to an innocent dog. There seems to be a variety of ways to torture your pets this Halloween season.
Costume Craze has a whole category of dog costumes. The ones that scare me the most are the harem girls, pimp dogs, and uhh… YODA!
While the images in their catalog are good for a quick laugh, shouldn’t this be considered cruelty to animals!?

It’s definitely cruelty to animals. If they could choose their own costumes, surely they’d pick something more in character, like a mailman or a fire hydrant.
Funny, you never see anyone trying to dress up their cat….

I used to dress up my cat in a baby bonnet and little gown and push her around in a dolly carriage. Poor kitty. She would be patient for a few minutes then leap out, tripping over the dolly dress hem until I could catch her and remove the torture devices. My excuse is that I was between 6 and 8 years of age when I did this stuff. Adults should NOT be doing this to their poor animals.

That’s just wrong!
Of course, I had a friend who had a dog that really liked wearing a sweater.

You know what though… Every time I look at that picture it makes me laugh. There’s just something about that Wonder Pooch that cracks me up. I mean, look at the detail… She’s got the wristbands and the lasso of truth and everything! HAHAHAHAHAHA

I was laughing so hard that I could barely make it through your post. I hate pets in costumes, but that just made me burst out laughing!

LOL – “Cruelty to animals” …Well, it could be. It’s not so bad getting a doggy in a cute little yuppie outfit for a picture, but when a dog has to walk around in one? Ugh, that’s just WRONG.

Dude, dressing up your dog as a pimp is pretty, um, pimp. It would only considered cruelty if he was neutered.

Wonder Woman is my hero! And unfotunately I am guilty of dressing my dog up. Every Christmas he gets a sweater and a picture with Santa.

I think that is freakin hilarious! OMG I cannot stop looking at the picture! I was a HUGE wonder woman fan. My sister and I used to wear our underoo’s and put on trench coats over them. We would jump off the table, spinning around and throwing the coats off. We made wrist cuffs out of toilet paper tubes, slit open and wrapped in foil. We were all in to it!
P.S. Loving the Halloween Bombshell!!!

Spiderman isn’t much better. BTW have you ever seen the photo of the German Shepherd wearing the fire fighter outfit? You can almost hear that poor dog thinking, “I’m a police dog, dammit!”

Okay… A friend of mine just posted a story about dressing up his dog on our blog. There is a picture of his dog “Stogie”. Rob loves his dog… but he does loves to dress him up. Have a great day and enjoy!
