Visited our local art museum just for fun today and took some really crappy pictures. They do not let you use a flash, and I have a very unsteady hand, so feel free to laugh at the low quality of the images… Or you could just enjoy seeing some artwork.

Well, I certainly enjoyed looking. I miss visiting art museums. My husband doesn’t share my affection, and my little man may just now be ready to qo quietly view the art with his mother. Perhaps this winter, when the weather cools, and the outdoor fun ends.

He wouldn’t be caught dead in a museum. I went by myself… It wasn’t bad. My father used to take us to all sorts of museums when I was little and I think that’s why I enjoy them today. I’m sure your son will benefit, too. A little culture never hurts.

My favorite LA museum. Puts the big guys like LACMA and the Getty to shame.

I saw a fabulous Picasso exhibit there last year. I *heart* museums!

The Getty is pretty lacking, it only has one rotating exhibit. I saw some religious Rembrandts there this summer and that was pretty cool. The best thing about the Getty is its seasonal garden.

Now WHY would I laugh? Cool pics. I wish the art museum in Houston would let us take pictures.
