Got A Cold Yall by Natalie Dee

I’m nearly convinced that the whole United States is falling victim to this gnarly flu (slash bronchitis, slash croup) that’s going around… And that I’m the last hold-out battling against its malice with all kinds of shit from the hippie food store — PS: Thank you, tree-huggers! It’s nice to know you’re good for something after all.
Even my girl Natalie Dee seems to have succumbed. For all of you in the throes, avoiding, or recovering, I wish you my best. The hippies got me to down this homeopathic stuff called Oscillococcinum and it seems to be working. Plus, I have discovered the magical sweaty wonderland that is the sauna… Stay well, cats and kittens!

I didn’t get a flu, but I have the longest lingering cold. A friend of mine has had his cold for six weeks and can’t shake the last little bit. I personally managed to infect a bunch of people at work.

I finally ditched my cough, and today my son puked in the car. Jeez, I hope I don’t get whatever he’s got, the walking petri dish…
Glad you have kept the germies away!

I was sick the week before Thanksgiving. If you are capable of doing what I do, just try to sleep for 16 hours straight. That usually gets me going again.

I’m finally getting over mine. Think it has taken about a month. Fun stuff.

We had it at our house last week!

Update: She got bushwacked last night, no treehugging meds gonna keep this one away… I was down for 2 days with it. Hopefully she will recover fast, though she usually has these things for weeks.

I have one kid finally getting better over here after a week! I’m waiting to see who gets it next.

Crossing fingers that it’s not me!

I haven’t had snotty nose yet this season, but I expect it anytime.

BTW, I love Natalie Dee. :)

Thankfully, whatever you got doesn’t seem to have hit Canukia yet. My mom got the whole family on some homeopathic immune system boosting stuff, so hopefully that’ll do what it’s supposed to and keep me from getting sick this winter.

    I think I’m getting sick, too…

I agree, everyone is getting sicks as dogs, Texas included.

    One word, Airborne.

[You can find it anywhere and it WORKS!]

OMG! As soon as I got home tonight I sprinted for the bathroom. When I came out, my daughter had vomited all over the kitchen. My son has already missed 2 days of school. This is a cursed house. I painted a great big A on the door.

Wow - lots of sickies out there! I’m taking my Airborne and so far, so good (knock on wood)! PS - it tastes good in hot apple cider PPS - I haven’t thrown up in 14 years!

I haven’t been sick in nearly seven years, but I’ve gotten some sort of cold or something now.

Firstof - I can’t remember when I last visited here. Apologies for the lack of clicking.

I hope the buggers don’t get you. Happy Weekend!

Just be thankful it’s not that avian flu… That is a bomb just waiting to drop :???:

Now… Are you sure its not bird flu?

I am lucky enough to live near the oil plant that blew up last week. Clever old me walked through the cloud of noxious smoke and have now got a horrible cough. Yum Yum.

I had this shit for 5 days last week and I wished death on everyone.
