All hail the glorious return of my one and only favorite show!
That’s correct, they aired the first new episode of BSG this evening, and if you missed it, don’t you fret about that:

Now, it may just be my imagination, but I think I saw a little sexual tension building between two of the more “butch” ladies on the show. Yep! I seriously think Admiral Cain has a thing for my girlie Starbuck. And who could blame her really? Kara Thrace is a bootie-kicking hottie, card shark, cigar smoker, and a viper pilot… I mean, hello!

I caught that tension too. My first thought was, “am I watching Bound?”But then I started to wonder if it was just because we have been conditioned to read any expression of admiration between two strong women as sexual in nature.
My favorite line of the night,
“You’ll have to kill her”

This is a show that I wish I would have stayed caught up on. I watched the first mini serires and then lost track of it. I am terrible TV watcher. I loved Star Trek Enterprise but as soon as they moved it to a different night and time, *POOF*, I forgot about it. I may have to catch up with this on DVD.
By the way, is that Admiral Cain the same woman who played Ensign Ro on Star Trek: TNG?

Andrew - Technically this is the second half of the second season.
Rora - The tension was WILD with those two women last night… I was watching it with some of my fraternity brothers and when we werent busy talking about how much we wanted a Helo/Apollo sandwich, we were certainly talking about how much Cain wanted some Starbuck. Hahaha. LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!!!

Some sexual tension… bull crap! I just think that Starbuck respects the hell out of her, because Cain doesn’t take prisoners. Cain is seriously nuts though… and Starbuck has no IDEA how nuts she really is. I doubt Starbuck would kill her next week though.

As if I didn’t already think this was the coolest blog I had ever seen (well this one and SteveIsaacs.com) I am now completely convinced! Battlestar Galactica is also my all time favorite show and I’m so stoked to see it on your blog!

I was not disappointed by the BSG premiere. I can’t wait for next week. I also think that there is mutual respect between the 2 women. Why must it be looked upon in a sexual way? Sheesh.
Starbuck won’t kill the Admiral because fragging a superior officer is wrong, no matter how loony the officer happens to be. I think it’s more likely that the Admiral’s XO will kill her. He seems to have had his fill of her behavior. Then again, if she turns out to be a Cylon, killing her won’t be such a huge deal.
