Well, it’s not like I didn’t study… First off, I decided to go with womens specific design (WSD) because I’m so insufferably short. That narrowed the field of suitable options considerably.
The first bike to catch my eye was a Cannondale R1000 WSD, but later on I saw the Specialized Ruby at InCycle in Pasadena, and I about keeled over and died! I mean, it’s gorgeous.
In a couple years I’ll find one cheap on eBay. Until then I’ll just find some POS that will get the job done. First, I must get good enough to kick your ass (it could happen!) and then I can get a fancy bike.
