I know that sounds negative, but this was pretty much my sister's MO for many, many years. When she was civil, fun, and cool, I really enjoyed her and ate it up. I finally learned that she was a ticking bomb that could go off at any moment, and to just roll with that and not be surprised. I learned to be pleasant and civil, but to keep that guard up. She has grown and changed, for the better, and so have I. I'm still cautious and I know some topics are off-limits, but we actually have a functional relationship now that I know the limits. Does any of that make sense at all? :smile: Yaaay! Run with it, enjoy it, dine out on it…but just remember that tomorrow she could take another big dump on you.
