Clearing Up

Clearing Up

Today this heavy fog finally evacuated my mind and I was feeling more like “myself” than I have in some time… Could it be my brain is back? Hallelujah! We won’t speak of my current physical condition, except to say that it’s a slow and steady healing and adjusting process. Post-op follow-up tomorrow, and thankfully I’ll be attending with a clear noodle!

I’ll Be Back

Scalpel

Tomorrow is my big day! Looking forward to when I’ll be able to type again… Don’t you think I haven’t had plenty of thoughts brewing in the meantime. They’re all waiting to explode on this page in coming days. Love to all of you… Be back soon!

PS: I’d love to work on a new skin for the site during the week of the 27th, so if any of you brilliant CSS junkies are inspired, please feel free to send your ideas my way… It’s about time for something fresh.

Natalie Raps

If it weren’t bad enough that Natalie Portman is disgustingly gorgeous and brilliant, now we can add hilarious to the list! This is teh fun-neh…

Pre-Operative

Mind - Body

Surgery in less than two weeks… Pre-op tomorrow. No big deal, really. Outpatient… A week or two to heal. Shouldn’t be a problem.

I find what I’m stressing over the most is not how painful this could be, but rather, how quickly I’ll be able to get back into fitness training. I feel fortunate to have something positive to strive for, and hope it will make thost first few days after my operation more tolerable.

This is my first experiment designed to prove the notion that a positive attitude and healthy habits will speed healing, I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed that my theory works… And of course, I’ll keep you posted.
