In light of what I wrote just yesterday, maybe I spoke too soon… Moral of the story: Don’t give the girl any bright ideas. I’m always on the lookout for something new and fun to try and this fit the bill.
So, I made my first visit to a shooting range last night where I learned a thing or two about handling a Glock 23 pistol. The experience was a literal blast!
I’m not bad for a newbie, as evidenced by the swiss cheesy man to your left there… Just call me a natural born killer.

Bringing a whole new meaning to the term “Targeted Marketing” …Dogbert is screwed, because I’m gonna win the next biathlon!
As for the distance: Umm… Somewhere between twelve and twenty five feet or something. Was I supposed to pay attention?

Scary! But I like the shooting. You should try a machine gun or something next time. I’m sure they’ll let you if you slip them a twenty.

WHOA! You shot a glock? A former boyfriend is an agent and had one that I was afraid to touch it looked so nasty. One of those guns that looked so plain you knew it had to be nastier than the pretty ones.

Just remember to squeeeeeeeeeeeeze the trigger… If you don’t know when the blast is coming, you won’t try to compensate for the recoil.

That target is so dead! Good job! Me, I’ll stick with my little SW .38 revolver. I’m a luddite at heart.
