At last I’m ready to hit the road on my rad new bike! It’s decorating my office right now and I can’t help glancing over at it every now and then to flash it a flirty grin. It’s just so sexy and Italian… You would too!
Went on a ride around Santa Paula to test it out. There’s a whole lot of nothing up there aside from cows, horses, and roadkill. This ride was less eventful than the last (no injuries!) and I really enjoyed it.
I’m surprised to find the difference between spinning and cycling to be so vast. They’re different species entirely. At the very least I figured the movement would be similar, but I find myself sore in new places.

Your bike was made in the Cretaceous period?
Ah, that’s a sweet sweet ride… I envy you.
Just remember to keep safe. Wear bright colors (=fun) and make sure you have plenty of light reflectors. Always drive with traffic not against. That extra speed on impact makes a difference, silly physics.
Have fun!

Soreness is probably because when you’re spinning you don’t have to worry about keeping your balance so much
‘Grats on the new bike - It’s hot!!!

Perhaps if you got training wheels, or elevate it so it doesn’t move, you would have the same experience? Congrats on the bike. Nice colors.

Spinning has always struck me as a complete waste of time and effort. Why not just buy a bloody bike? Glad to see you’ve joined the sane again.

Santa Paula is a nice place to ride, even in the hills

Rad new bike! I need to stop being a fatty and get off my butt and do some biking too. Or at least some more walking than I have been. Sigh. I hate being lazy. =p

I do not dare ask what you invested into that bike. You probably do not want to remember either!
