MS-150 Bay to BayLast year I participated in my first MS-150 Bay to Bay and all my blogging buddies helped me raise money for Multiple Sclerosis treatment and research. This weekend I’m participating in their 25th annual event, riding my bike from the OC to San Diego to promote the cause. Once again, thanks to your generous support I’ve already raised the minimum donation.

Big thanks everyone who already sponsored: Misty, Dena, Jeff, Jordan, Andrea, Markus, Kath, Dalia, Jan, Rob, Linda, Dave, and Gail - You guys are the BEST! Together we’ve raised $470 to benefit the hundreds of thousands of people waging the battle against MS. But just because I’ve exceeded my fundraising goal doesn’t mean the rest of you are off the hook.

    For realsies! First it was Habitat for Humanity, and then fighting City Hall, and then Breast Cancer research, and now Multiple Sclerosis. I’m starting to sound like a regular Mother Teresa these days. Hah!

    I can’t wait to get out there and ride for the cure!!! We will have so much fun and… I kind of want to see Shamu again. :)

    Well, that ride was a lot of work, but it was certainly a heap of fun, as well. Jordan and I rode together for over 100 miles this weekend, and here’s a picture of the medal to prove it. We averaged over 15 miles per hour and hung out with all the cool folks from the Wells Fargo team at rest stops. Next year, if we’re feeling extra super crazy, we might even sign up for the Century Challenge and do all 100 miles in one day! Thanks again to each of you who sponsored my ride. Wish you could have been there with me at the finish line to greet the real champions - people living with Multiple Sclerosis. Inspiring!
